Running on Clouds…..

That’s how my run after work felt in my new shoes!!

I dragged the hubby to the gym after work, after I patiently waited for him to finish up with work.  My car is getting repaired so we only have his truck at the moment.  Oh how I love driving that big ol’ thing…. blech.

Any how, my run felt great… aside from the fact that it was on a treadmill.   The gym was packed too, been so long since I’ve been there after work.  Not sure if it was due to people really working out or the FREE PIZZA?!  I really don’t get it.  The first Monday of every month they have free pizza.  Maybe they figure it will keep people coming back?  You stuffed your face so now you have to come back and work out?  The last thing I wanted after running 3 miles & getting all sweaty, is to hang out with a slice of pizza.

Does your gym anything odd like this?

Back in college I liked that our gym had “Fat Tuesdays” where they would have trainers measure your body fat with calipers.  It at least was helpful and made sense to do at the gym….. not stuff your face with pizza.

Had an unpictured cookie for dessert.

Subjected my poor hubby to watching Tivo’d Real Housewives of Orange County….. yep he’s not a fan.
